Job Description: 

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Cyber Security Program Manager specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to work with our client to safeguard sensitive data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security program management, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive DLP strategies and solutions.


 Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive DLP strategy to safeguard sensitive data across the clients' organization.
  • Ensure the DLP program complies with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage DLP projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Provide guidance on DLP policies, data classification, encryption, and endpoint monitoring.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and Business Units.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential data loss scenarios.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and incident response plans.
  • Develop and enforce data protection policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest data security trends, regulatory changes, and emerging threats.
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare activity reports on the project's status, timeline, and budgets.
  • Ensure effective ongoing communication throughout the project.
  • Meet with key project leads and stakeholders to coordinate meetings, assignments, and deadlines.
  • Communicate changes to appropriate parties, identify issues, and resolve or escalate as needed.
  • Ability to define objectives, scope, resources, and KPIs for projects.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. MBA or equivalent desirable.
  • Must be physically located in the Greater Seattle area, The position will require travel to the client site as needed. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct work experience in a project leadership capacity.
  • Technical project management experience within data security, InfoSec, or compliance.
  • Experience in developing and implementing data security and InfoSec policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of DLP technologies (e.g. Microsoft, Symantec, Cisco, etc.) and data protection strategies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate and influence senior-level leaders.
  • Strong executive presence, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Consulting mindset and ownership mentality with motivation to work and drive toward client solutions and needs.
  • Opportunities to engage with internal Plaster Group account team and management activities.

Preferred Skills

  • CISSP, CISM, or similar cyber security certifications are highly desirable.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CSM, CSPO, and/or Prosci are a plus.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is from $140,000 - $200,000 depending on overall skillset and experience.
