Senior Consultants lead highly complex projects and phases of complex projects for a business unit, department, or functional area. Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, training, and closure.
  • Gather, organize, analyze, and report information in support of projects to improve profitability, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
  • Ensure that the project achieves the expected results within time and on budget.
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare activity reports on the project's status, timeline, and budgets.
  • Ensure effective ongoing communication throughout the project.
  • Meet with key project leads and stakeholders to coordinate meetings, assignments, and deadlines.
  • Communicate changes to appropriate parties, identify issues, and resolve or escalate as needed.
  • Ability to define objectives, scope, resources, and KPIs for projects.


Job requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. MBA or equivalent desirable.
  • Must be physically located in the Greater Seattle area.
  • Minimum of 10 years direct work experience in a project leadership capacity.
  • Experience with structured project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proven experience leading complex projects from conception to completion with limited guidance.
  • Ability to leverage past experiences to provide recommendations, solutions, or strategic guidance to project leaders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate and influence senior level leaders.
  • Strong executive presence, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Consulting mindset and ownership mentality with motivation to work and drive toward client solutions and needs.
  • Ability to articulate business case of your project.
  • Opportunities to engage with internal Plaster Group account team and management activities.
  • Experience implementing enterprise systems, systems integration, or application development.
  • Experience across the entire software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).


Preferred Skills

  • PMP/PMI certification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CSM, CSPO, and/or Prosci are a plus.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and/or MS Project.
  • Ability to use critical thinking to find insights and opportunities in data.


Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is from $110,000 - $160,000 depending on overall skillset and experience.
